GEO stands for Gift Economy Orchestra. We are a bunch of non-professional musicians who are playing together since October 2015. We propose our music and our activities in a tough neighborhood in Rome called Primavalle.
Our mission is to spread our music within our neighborhood as a form of gift, meaning that we are not playing for money or other similar forms of reward, hence the name GEO. In the near future we would also like to start a music school (ideally for free) intended for kids and teenagers.
